Reliability analysis of modern large-scale systems is a challenging task which could benefit from the jointly exploitation of recent model-based approaches and simulation techniques to flexibly evaluate the system reliability performances and compare different design choices. In this context, RAMSAS, a model-based method which supports the reliability analysis of systems through simulation by combining the benefits of popular OMG modeling languages with wide adopted simulation and analysis environments, has been recently proposed. The collectivity of the electronic motion in small sodium clusters with planar structure is studied by the time-dependent density functional theory (TDDFT). The formation and development of collective resonances in the absorption spectra were obtained as the function of the size and shape of the plane. We find the symmetry plays an important role in the collective excitation. Resonance peaks increase with the reduction of the symmetries and, on the contrary, resonance peaks decrease with the increase of the symmetries. In the planar cluster, there are two main excitation modes: the higher-energy mode and the competitive mode, which is due to the coupling and competition of the quasi-lower-energy effect and the quasi-higher-energy effect. With the increase of the interatomic distance, peaks of the absorption spectra are all red-shifted and the evolutionary trend is also discussed. 相似文献

In this paper we propose a new method for pricing double-barrier options with moving barriers under the Black-Scholes and the CEV models. First of all, by applying a variational technique typical of the boundary element method, we derive an integral representation of the double-barrier option price in which two of the integrand functions are not given explicitly but must be obtained solving a system of Volterra integral equations of the first kind. Second, we develop an ad hoc numerical method to regularize and solve the system of integral equations obtained. Several numerical experiments are carried out showing that the overall algorithm is extraordinarily fast and accurate, even if the barriers are not differentiable functions. Separating multidimensional problems into that of a relevant system which is coupled to a bath of harmonic oscillators is
a common concept in condensed phase theory. Focusing on the specific problem of intramolecular proton transfer in an isolated
tropolone derivative, we consider the reactive proton moving in the plane of the molecule as the system and the remaining
substrate normal modes as the bath. An all-Cartesian system-plus-substrate Hamiltonian is constructed employing density functional
theory. It is then used to determine the temperature-dependent effective reduced reaction Hamiltonian and the state-to-state
dissipation rates induced via the system-substrate coupling up to the bi-quadratic order. The important substrate modes for the T1-relaxation and the pure T2-dephasing rates, which are either intra- or inter-well in nature, are identified numerically and analyzed physically with

A stochastic theory for the cumulative fatigue damage of structural components with random fatigue strength under random loading is proposed on the basis of Stratonovich-Khasminskii theorem. The analytical solutions for the probability densities of the cumulative fatigue damage and fatigue life and for the reliability function are given for steel and reinforced concrete components with constant fatigue strength subject to a narrow band stationary Gaussian stress process with zero mean. The results agree very well with those of digital simulation. It is noted that the theory can be applied, in principle, to both metallic and non-metallic materials, narrow band and wide band stress process, and adapted to a sequence ofn, stationary stress processes or quasi-stationary stress process. The scatter and degradation of fatigue strength and the inspection maintenance can also be incorporated into the theory. 相似文献
